14 year old boy nabbed by the police for raping a mentally challenged woman It all happened when the police arrested a 14 year old boy in Anambra for raping a mentally challenged woman known as Obiuwanne and kidnapping the woman's son whose name was Ifeanyi.
The 14 year old boy known as Eberechi was in company of three other suspects known as Emeka Nnorue, 44, Ekene Obodoako, 27 from Ebonyi State, and Chika Obi, 28 from Anambra State when they went to meet the woman at Umunze in the Orumba South Government Area of the state promising to provide her with food and other necessities of hers which made her to follow them to an unknown destination where she was raped and her child was kidnapped.
According to the police officers a man known as Martin Ikorodu claiming to be one of her relatives was the one who notified the Police about it.
“As soon as my niece was brought back home by a neighbour and narrated her ordeal, I contacted the Commander of Umunze Vigilance Group, Jerry Ibeh, who organised a search for the missing child, the relative said Confirming the incident
The spokesperson of the state police command, Haruna Muhammed, said the victims were rescued from the suspects following intelligence report. He said the suspects would soon be charged to court after investigations into the matter has been completed.
